- Week 2
- Composition: Rule of Thirds Motion
This week I’m using the “Rule of Thirds Motion”
I struggled a bit with this one. The “Rule of Thirds” is a concept in photography that “is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.”
So, you create a grid and align the subject of the photo with an intersection. Easy, right? Well, I got busy and didn’t take nearly as many pictures as I should have. Instead, you get Wendy, not in motion, but about to be. That’s because there’s food off camera she is eying up.
Thanks for reading.
